Tanga is both the name of the most northerly port city of Tanzania on the west of the Indian Ocean, and the surrounding Tanga Region with a population of 273,332 in 2012, Tanga is one of the largest cities in the country. It is a quiet city compared to, for example, Arusha or Moshi with a comparable number of inhabitants.
TAREO through the franchise model we work close with local children school in KOROGWE, GIFT DAY CARE AND YOUTH LEARNING CENTER .The school is in MIGOMBANI street in Korogwe district. The town is the seat of the Anglican Diocese of Tanga and has a cathedral church dedicated to St. Michael and All Angels. It also has a teacher training college and a number of secondary schools while the district is drained by tributaries of the Pangani River
Working with TAREO the Center and kindergarten school provides a rich learning environment in which children can explore, interact and learn through the many aspects of their PLAY. It is a constantly evolving environment where we routinely change activities and materials available, adapting to the children’s social, emotional and cognitive needs and abilities as they develop and grow.
Through PLAY, we encourage the children to use their minds, their bodies and their emerging expressive language to navigate the day to day challenges of growing and learning. While this kind of learning is important, at Busy Bees we believe there is much more. Here we strive to provide a loving, stimulating place where children learn to solve problems and are coached to use their emerging language to become great friends and great people. We model and teach kindness, sharing, generosity and thoughtfulness.
Through franchise model we have created a safe and loving environment, especially designed and equipped to enrich those all-important years. Even though we have few infrastructure and few staffs who are committed creating a loving, happy and stimulating environment which responds to the needs of enthusiastic and inquisitive individuals. We welcome volunteers and other supports to improve the center so as we enroll as many children so that they won’t stay at home. Our children and TAREO are always willing to meet with you and share with your ideas, support and through any of your interesting ways.
